Solartif Sdn Bhd was founded in August 2007 to manufacture Photovoltaic (PV) Module which is also known as Solar Module. PV system is recognized as the 5th largest power generation instrument in Malaysia.
The establishment has proven the commitment to play a small role to energy security and mitigate global climate change in Malaysia. Solartif produces high-quality Poly-crystalline Silicone Solar Module ranging from 70 – 170 Watt. The factory is located at Lot D1 & D2, SME Bank Factory Complex, Chendering Industrial Area, Chendering, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu,
Solartif factory is spread-up at 500m² area with a workforce of 15 people who are working in single-shift production, maximum production capacity is at 1.0MWatt per annum. The technical workers had undergone numerous training courses related to solar industry to enhance their technical know-how and skills.
The production line will soon be upgraded by acquiring semi-automation system to boost up production output at a total of 3MW by end of 2009. The new system would be able to increase production efficiency as well as reduce rejection rate.
In years to come, Solartif plans itself to venture into the upstream solar activities such as low-cost solar cell production. Besides producing solar modules, Solartif is fabricating Solar Thermal products such as Solar Tunnel Drier and V-Groove for drying industry in Terengganu.
